Addelin B. Evans

Addelin B. Evans passed away April 18, 2021 at her home in Aurora. She was 88 years old. She was born on May 10, 1932 to Albert and Clara Rinker in Barry County.
Evans married Glen Evans on Aug. 31, 1953. They were married for nearly 32 years before he passed in 1985.
Survivors include daughters, Kathie Goodin of Leavenworth, Kan. and Rebecca Fishe of Colorado Springs, Colo.; son, David (Brenda) Evans of Independence, Kan.; two grandchildren, Jessica Fishe of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Seth Evans of Independence, Kan.; son-in-law, William Fishe of Colorado Springs, Colo. and a longtime friend and companion, Al Andrews of Aurora. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Benton, Willie and Ray Rinker; sisters, Pearl Carney, Mayabell Lasiter and Agnes Shoemaker; son-in-law, Robert Goodin and one grandson.
Funeral services were held April 22, 2021 in the Peterson Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Nolan Cemetery in Galena.
Visitation was held Wednesday in the funeral home.
