ALAN NILES SPEED

Alan Niles Speed, 75, of Billings passed away on Nov. 2, 2023, at the Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon. He was born March 8, 1948, in San Francisco, Calif., to Omer and Virginia Speed.
He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War era. He enjoyed riding his Harley, working on trucks, and spending time with his family. He gave life hell!
He is survived by his daughter, Carrie Speed-Goodman and her husband, Kyle; three grandsons; and his sisters, Pamela Hicks, Patricia Compton, and Diana Felton.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Warriors’ Watch Riders rendered a final salute on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home. The funeral procession was escorted by Warriors’ Watch Riders from the funeral home to the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, where he received full military honors.
His care has been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory.
