Barbara Faye Roberts

Barbara Faye Roberts, 77, of Pierce City passed away March 29, 2021 while at her residence.
Roberts was born on July 12, 1943 in Rogers, Ark., daughter of the late Manuel Duewy and Hattie Mae (McCombs) Cotton. Roberts worked for Tyson Foods for over 36 years, 25 of those years in Monett and 11 in Rogers. She retired as a shift manager in 1995. Rodgers was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
On June 20, 1959 in Huntsville, Ark., she married William Ray “Bill” Roberts. To this union, they were blessed with two children, Chuck and Barbara. They cherished over 47 years together. Roberts was also preceded in death by her son, Chuck Roberts and her siblings, George, Ted and Charlie Cotton and Hazel Bean and Gracie Pace. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Warnick, of Pierce City; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Margie (Alva Lee) Johnson of Pea Ridge, Ark. and Jessie Starnes, of Pierce City as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation was held April 4, 2021 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Pierce City, prayer service followed. Mass of Christian burial was held April 5, 2021 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Interment was held in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Memorials can be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
