BETTY S. SHEPPARD

Betty S. Sheppard, 74, of Verona passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024. She was born Aug. 22, 1950, in Independence; the daughter of John “JL” Siegrist and Nola Brown.
She is survived by two sons, Aaron (Carla) Siegrist of Verona and David (Dee) Sheppard of Aurora; one daughter, Vanessa Enck of Aurora; two sisters, Jean Dunn of Galena, Kan. and Debbie Lee of Verona; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Sheppard; her parents; and one brother, Bobby Siegrist.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 21, 2024, in Peterson Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Spring River Cemetery in Verona.
Arrangements were under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel.
