BOBBY GENE WALDROP

Bobby Gene Waldrop, 92, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025. He was born on May 22, 1932.
He graduated from Coffeyville High School in Coffeyville, Kan. in 1950, and was a United States Marines during the Korean War era.
He loved photography and was a Marine Combat photographer and then a wildlife photographer in Texas and Nebraska and an Industrial Cinetographer in the Defense Industries in St. Louis and Fort Worth. He was also a freelance cinephotographer in Dallas, Texas. After retirement he moved to Key Largo, Fla. where he got his captain’s license and did day charters in the Florida Straits aboard his sailboat.
On Aug. 27, 1982, he married Patsy Barker, in Weatherford, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patsy; his son and family; daughter and family; two stepsons; one stepdaughter and nine grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
