BONNIE LOU JONES

Bonnie Lou Jones, age 88, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri passed away at 12:52 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2025, at her home. She was born on December 19, 1936, in Mt. Vernon, Missouri; the daughter of Ira and Vera (Paris) Jones.
Bonnie retired from the Missouri Rehabilitation Center after 40 years working as a registered nurse.
On March 17, 1967, she married Norman Neal Jones in Kansas City, Missouri.
Bonnie is survived by one daughter, Kelly Jack and her husband, Eric of Bolivar, Missouri; two sons, Dale Jones and his wife, Saundra of Mt. Vernon, Missouri and Doug Wilks and his wife, Angie of Strafford, Missouri; eight grandchildren; Kasey and her husband, Scott, Kelsey and her husband, Josh, Kinzi and her husband, Tanner, Kendra and Zach, Kaden and Alexis, Ashley and her husband, Jacob, Trae and his wife, Mikayla and Addie and Aubrey; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Norman; her parents, Ira and Vera; and her sister, Betty Miller.
A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the Mt. Vernon 100F Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Church in Action in care of the funeral home..
