Brenda Maureen Garner

Brenda Maureen Garner, 76, of Marionville passed away on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at her home. She was born on May 6, 1949, in Picher, Okla., the daughter of Ernest and Nellie (Anderson) Garner.
Garner was a 1967 graduate of Aurora High School in Aurora, and was a United States Navy veteran. She worked as the activities director for the Ozarks Methodist Manor in Marionville for 54 years. She enjoyed fishing, working in her yard, skiing and riding her motorcycle. She was a pilot and a minister with a beautiful voice. She was full of life and helped so many people she came in touch with.
Garner is survived by three sisters Brosia Garner of Afton, Okla., Beverly Garner of Aurora, and Gail Bremmerkamp and her husband, Bill, of Carl Junction; brother, Clay Garner and his wife, Heather, of Joplin; several nieces, nephews, cousin and many friends who loved her, and three special people who have spent a lot of time with her since she retired, Janice Norris, Randy Norris and Brenda Norris all of Aurora.
Garner was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Greenway; her father, Ernest Garner and her brother, Jerry Garner.
A visitation was from 1:30-3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at the Faith Full Gospel Church in Aurora, with a memorial service following at 3 p.m. at the church. Arrangements were under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora.
