Carol Jeanne Holle-Stoltz

Carol Jeanne Holle-Stoltz, 69, of Freistatt, passed away Oct. 7, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Aurora, after a sudden illness. She was born April 17, 1949, in Monett, to Alvin H. and Orba (Doennig) Holle.
Holle-Stoltz graduated from Monett High School with the Class of 1967. She managed several apartment buildings for years before retiring. She was a member of the Freistatt Ladies Aide and a former member of the Der Freistatt Spieler musical group in Freistatt. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, doing crafts and listening to different types of music.
In 2006, she married Edward Stoltz. He preceded her in death in 2015.
She is survived by: step-daughter, Blake Flaherty of Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Gerilyn (Bill) York of Springfield; nephews, Brian Holle of Springfield and Greg York of Atlanta, Ga.; two nieces, Regina Hagemeier-Jones of Springfield and Aimee Jeter of Atlanta, Ga.
She was also preceded in death by: her parents and brothers, Gerald Holle and Donald Holle
Funeral services were held Oct. 10, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistatt. Interment was at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
