CAROL MAY “CARLA” (LEVICK) NICHOLS-BAUGHMAN

Carol May “Carla” (Levick) Nichols-Baughman, 86, of Marionville passed away on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024 at Ozarks Methodist Manor in Marionville. She was born Sept. 11, 1938, in St. Albans, Vt.; the daughter of George Dewey and Viola (Cross) Levick.
She graduated from high school and was a homemaker living in this area since 1972.
On Aug. 30, 1976, she married Arnold “Nick” Nichols, in Miami, Okla. They were married for 20 years when he passed away on Jan. 26, 1997.
She is survived by one daughter, Madonna Sparks of Cassville; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Nick; her parents; her second husband, Fred Baughman; two sons, James Lomax, Jr. and Kip Church; a grandson, Gregory Sparks; two brothers; four sisters; four special friends, Bernice, Barbara, Francis and Karlene; and her beloved Boston Terrier, Logan.
Services were held on Friday, Sept. 20, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville with Warren Creason conducting the services. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
