Carolyn Sue Mills, 58, of Monett, passed away Oct. 15, 2018, while in the Bentonview Park Health and Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness. She was born May 8, 1960, to Donald Lee Mills and Jane Elizabeth Mills.
Mills graduated with the Monett class of 1978. During her school years, she was very active in sports and was Miss Monett Lions in 1977. During her last few years, she had worked at the Windmill Ridge Golf Course.
Mills is survived by: her parents; sister, Barbara Mills, of Kansas City; brother, Tom (Valli) Mills of Springfield; and two nephews.
A memorial visitation was held Oct. 20, 2018, at Buchanan Funeral Home. A private family ceremony will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home.
