Carrie Lou Miller, 82, previously of Carthage, passed away Dec. 5, 2019 at Robertsdale Health Care in Robertsdale, Ala. She was born Aug. 12, 1937 in Aurora, to Byron (Barney) and Willie (Bill) Robinson. Miller graduated from Aurora High School in Aurora in 1955 and Blue Bonnet Beauty School of Cosmetology in Springfield in 1956. She married Donald D. Miller in 1962 in Aurora. She was a longtime resident of Carthage, until moving to Alabama in December 2016 to be near her sister. While living in Carthage, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carthage.
Miller is survived by: Kay (Cy) Myers;  one nephew; one niece; two aunts; many cousins; and two special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Miller; twin sister, Clara Sue Robinson; parents, Barney and Bill Robinson; grandparents, Samuel and Clara Robinson and James and Carrie Toliver.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 11, 2019 at the Knell Mortuary in Carthage. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the mortuary. Burial will be at the Crane Community Cemetery in Crane. Memorials may be made to the Kitchen Fund of the First Baptist Church in Carthage or a charity of your choice.
