Coca-Cola Salad

The Record’s “Recipe of the Week”:
Coca-Cola Salad by Cecil R. Jackson

1 pkg. cherry Jello
1 pkg. strawberry Jello
1 can bing cherries, dark, pitted
1 small can crushed pineapple
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, room temperature
12 oz. Coca-Cola
Nuts

Drain the cherries and pineapple. Reserve the liquid. Heat the liquid to boiling. Add Jello. Stir until completely dissolved.

Add softened cream cheese to Jello mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Pour into oblong 2-qt. dish. Chill until firm. Serves 12-15.
