Donald D. Long

Donald D. Long, 87, of Rogersville, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025. He was born Sept. 27, 1937, in Galloway, to Virgil and Helen May (Elfrits) Long.
He was a dairy farmer, and he loved being and working on his farm. He also loved Cardinal baseball, both Springfield and St. Louis. He will be missed by those that knew and loved him.
He is survived by sons, Ronald Long and wife Cindy; Phillip Long and wife Heather; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings Norman Long; Leroy Long; Bill Long and wife Carol; Jerry Long; Lola Dickens; Carolyn Hufft and husband Bob; niece, Nancy Manning and husband Bo; other nieces, nephews; and other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Leon Long, Christine Harris, Jim Long, Betty Lock, Mary Lou Cross, Paul Long and Darrell Long.
Visitation was at 10 a.m. until service time, Monday, Sept. 29, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services began at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, with burial following at Ash Grove Cemetery.
