Donald Ray Pearcey

Donald Ray Pearcey, 71, Springfield, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022, in his home, after a long illlness. He was born Oct. 26, 1950 in Springfield, to Roy and Nell (Harrow) Pearcey. He was a retired auto mechanic. He also served in the United States Marine Corps from Jan., 1970-1972, where he received The Rifle Marksman Badge and National Defense Service Medal.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Beverly. On June 14, 1986 in Stotts City he was united in marriage to Sandra Kay Ladd. He is survived by his wife, Sandra, son: Brien Pearcey; daughter, Jennifer Pearcey Coring (Casey); four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his sister: Elaine Harrelson and twin brother Ronald Pearcey, along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery. There will be no viewing or visitation.
