Donnie Joe Davis

Donnie Joe Davis, 74, of Monett, passed away Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, while at Lacoba Homes in Monett.
Davis was born on Dec. 30, 1947 in Exeter, son of the late Joseph Sanford Davis and Wilma Ruth (Swearingen) Davis.
As a lifelong resident of the Purdy and Monett area, Davis attended and graduated from Purdy High School with the class of 1965.
Davis worked for many years at the Purdy Farm Center in the feed mill. He was a member of the Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church.
Davis is survived by one sister Joyce Nix (Mike), of Monett; two nephews; three great-nephews; and two great-nieces.
Graveside services for Davis was held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022 at Bethel Cemetery, south of Monett. Memorial donations have been suggested to the Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
