Doris Jean Leach

Doris Jean Leach, 90, of Ash Grove passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at her home. She was born March 10, 1936, in Ainsworth, Neb. the daughter of Raymond and Zella (Parsons) Holder.

Leach was a 1954 graduate of Cal Poly High School in Riverside, Calif. She was known by hundreds of family and friends from her work as a Volunteer Grandma for 23 years at Round Grove Christian Academy. 

On July 19, 1958, she married Marvin Lawrence Leach, in Las Vegas, Nev. He preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 1992.

She is survived by three sons, Brian Leach and his wife, Stephanie, of Everton, Steve Leach and his wife, Faith, of Ash Grove, and O.J. Leach and his wife, Staci, of Miller, one sister, Margaret Henson, of Lake Isabella, Calif.; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond, and Zella Holder; her husband, Marvin Leach; one son, Clifford Leach; one brother, Jim Holder and two sisters, Vivian Farris and Melva Pattison.

A private family burial will be held at a later date at the Round Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home in Miller.
