DOUGLAS “DOUG” GENE SAMUEL

Douglas “Doug” Gene Samuel, 72, of Highlandville passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on Feb. 6, 1953; the son of Dwight and Jackie (Neeley) Samuel.
He graduated from Cassville High School in 1971. After he graduated, he moved to Kansas and joined the Army. He served and was a veteran during the Vietnam era.
He married Brenda in 1972, and after he was discharged from the Army, they moved to Cassville to raise their family. He was employed by FASCO Industries in Cassville for many years and later owned and operated a cleaning and landscape business and was contracted by FASCO Industries. He was a deacon at the First Christian Church in Cassville and was a faithful member there for many years.
He is survived by his father, Dwight of Cassville; one son, Chad (Jennifer) Samuel of Highlandville; one daughter, Kelly (Tyler) Wilson of Nixa; one brother, David Samuel of Cape Fair; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and his nephew and nieces.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 27, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Billy Graff will conduct the services.
