Gregory Nelson

Gregory Nelson, 74, of Pierce City passed away July 11, 2021. He was born on March 18, 1947 in Dodge City, Kan.; the son of the late Wendell and Marilyn (Carlson) Nelson. He was united in marriage on Nov. 23, 2013 in Wentworth to Frances Johnson; she survives.
He was a retired construction supervisor and a member of the First Baptist Church of Pierce City.
Nelson is survived by his wife Frances of the home; son, Ryan Patrick Nelson of Thibodaux, La. and brother, Raymond Nelson of Fletcher, N.C.
Memorial visitation was held July 17, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Pierce City. Memorial services followed at the First Baptist Church of Pierce City.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
