Joyce Burkett

Joyce Burkett, 84, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Oct. 9, 2018.
She worked at the Lawrence County Manor for 19 years and she enjoyed quilting and making quilts for her family.
She is survived by: her husband of 38 years, Robert; daughter, Susan Rhodes of Magnolia, Texas; three grandchildren, Robin, Rachel and Joel all of Magnolia, Texas; and six great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, her family request that you think of her fondly and wish her Godspeed.
