KENNETH LEE RUARK

Kenneth Lee Ruark, 90, of Washburn passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Cassville Health Care and Rehab in Cassville. He was born in Washburn on Sept. 25, 1934; the son of Orba and Freda Bell (Poe) Ruark.
He grew up in Washburn and graduated from Washburn High School in 1953. He was an over the road truck driver for many years. He worked in construction, preparing oil drilling pads in Oklahoma, building swimming pools and painting water towers and was a member of Church of Christ in Exeter.
On Aug. 22, 1954, he married Barbara Anne Miles in Exeter.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two sons, Steven Ray Ruark of Claremore, Okla. and Jerry Lee (Tarrie) Ruark of Washburn; two daughters, Mary Jane (Robert) Siefken of Ozark and Ruth (Pat) Coonce of Garfield, Ark.; son-in-law, Bill Collin of Exeter; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, David Wayne; daughter, Linda Sue Collin; grandson, Eric Ruark and brothers: Jack Ruark, Gerald Don Ruark and Robert Ruark.
Services were held on Thursday, June 12, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Mark Hardwick conducted the services. Burial was at Hickman Cemetery in Washburn.
