KEVIN LEE SCHEEL

Kevin Lee Scheel, 45, of Mt. Vernon passed away on Monday, June 17. He was born on July 6, 1978; the son of Bill Scheel and Linda Kay Scheel Blevins and stepson of Edd “Cobb” Kyle Blevins.
He married Misty in July of 2000, and together they had two children Kevin B. Scheel and Kaylee Scheel. Later in life he moved to Oklahoma and married Brandi Spears on July 2, 2011, and together they had Dalton Scheel.
He is survived by is his three children: Kevin B. (Shayna) Scheel of Miller, Kaylee Scheel of Mt. Vernon and Dalton Scheel of Elk City, Okla.; one granddaughter; his sister Shanie (Bill) Merwin; one niece and one nephew; two great-nieces and a great nephew; along with numerous cousins and friends.  
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a stepfather, Edd “Cobb” Kyle Blevins; and all of his grandparents.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 8, at McConnell Cemetery in Nixa with Pastor Jimmy Campbell officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Nixa and cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.
