KIM WAYNE MCCLINTOCK

Kim Wayne McClintock, 64, of Purdy passed away on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin. He was born Oct. 17, 1959, in Carthage; the son Wayne and Helen (Pugh) McClintock.
On Aug. 23, 1990, in Eureka Springs, Ark. he married Lisa Vance.
A lifelong farmer, he enjoyed working ground and working with his hands. He instilled a deep love of the land and nature in his sons, shaping their lives with the values of hard work and dedication. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, unwavering support, and the joy he brought to all who knew him. He enjoyed watching Mizzou basketball and football, Cardinals baseball and Kansas City Chiefs football. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends who celebrate his life and legacy that he leaves behind. He was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa; four sons; Shannon (Emily) McClintock of Pittsburg, Kan., Trevor McClintock of Kansas City, Austin (Aubree) McClintock of Granby and Jeremy (Jennifer) McClintock of Georgetown, Texas; five grandchildren; four cherished granddogs; and his beloved, constant companion, Bourbon.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. A private graveside service will be held at Paradise Cemetery in Jasper at a later date.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
