Linda Lou Jackson

Linda Lou Jackson, 77, of Wentworth, passed away Sept. 1, 2019 at Landmark Hospital in Joplin. Jackson was born in Alton, Ill., Sept. 26, 1941. She was the daughter of Wilbur Loren and Ruth Marie (Farmer) Anders. She was married to Larry Jackson in 1971 in Galesburg, Ill. Jackson was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, flowers, and watching wildlife while taking drives on back roads through the country. Jackson loved people and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are: her husband; son, Ronald Huggins of Oklahoma City, Okla.; sisters, Patti Sloan of Avon, Ill. and Lee Ann Robinson of Saint Augustine, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Jackson was preceded in death by: her parents; sons, Ricky Lee Huggins and Larry Loren Jackson; brothers, Butch and Kenny Anders; and sister, Judy Shaw.
Jackson was cremated at her request. Services will be at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
