Linda Sue (Tennison) Redshaw

Linda Sue (Tennison) Redshaw, 72, passed away in her home on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, following a short illness, with her loving family by her side.
She was born on Jan. 28, 1953, to Jim and Mary Margarete (Long) Tennison in Monett. She was one of four children, including Kenneth (deceased), Mary Helen Tyhurst, and Darlene Champion.
She had four sons: Mike and wife Megan, of Neosho; Ryan and wife Shara, of Kansas City; Bryan, of Arnold; and Greg, of Republic. She had three grandsons. She also had a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins she loved.
She had a passion for music, learning to play the piano at a young age. Most recently she played for the First Congregational Church in Pierce City and the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Monett.
She was retired, having worked for several organizations working with bookkeeping and office administration. She also served as a public servant as the Purdy City Tax Collector, an officer of the Purdy PTSO and various other organizations.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 3, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Pierce City. Pastor Russell Brammer and Reverend Angi Tharakan officiated. Interment followed in King’s Prairie Cemetery, Monett. Visitation was held at Buchannan Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions have been suggested to the King’s Prairie Cemetery. Arrangements are under the personal care of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
