Lorraine Logan

Lorraine Logan, 100, of Carthage, passed away Dec. 21, 2018, in Carthage. Logan was born June 26, 1918, in Monarch, Okla. to the late Irvan Schnitzer and Jewell Green. She attended Carthage High School. She married Dr. Fred Logan, Sr.; he preceded her in death after 59 years of marriage. Logan was a member of the St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Carthage. She enjoyed sewing, flowers, gardening, loved singing in choir and helping with St. Ann’s, but most of all, loved her kids.
Survivors include: daughter, Becky (David) Massey of Joplin; son, Sam (Sharon) Logan of Mt. Vernon; 14 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: her parents, and sons, Dr. Fred Logan, Jr. and Tony Michael Logan.
Visitation was held by Dec. 27, 2018, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Carthage. Interment followed the service at Park Cemetery in Carthage.
