MARILYN PFITZNER

Marilyn Pfitzner, 77, of Republic passed away on Oct. 20, 2024. She was born on Jan. 6, 1947, in Hannibal; the daughter of Clifford and Mildred (Rothfuss) Jackson and was one of five children in the home.
She graduated from Aurora High School with the class of 1964.
On Dec. 30, 1966, she married Kenneth Pfitzner and they shared 57 years together.
She worked as a secretary for the majority of her career at various manufacturing companies.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth, son, Jason (Crystal) Pfitzner; her grandson; brother, Larry (Marian) Jackson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kenneth Clifford Jackson and Marvin Leon Jackson and his wife, Natalie; and a sister, Mary Maxine Houston.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, at Hope Lutheran Church in Republic. Burial will follow in Evergreen cemetery.
