Miller School District Athletics finalizes “Fall Home Spectator Plan”

The following is the finalized plan involving fall sporting events at Miller High School/Junior High:
Varsity and Sub-Varsity Volleyball Contests
-Spectator capacity will be limited to 50 percent of fixed seating capacity. (350 spectators)
250 Home spectators
-Families of Miller JH/HS volleyball players will receive family admission tickets.
-Each Miller volleyball player will receive 10 family admission tickets per home contest.
-Family admission tickets do not cover the cost of entry to the contest.
-Remaining Home spectator capacity will be first come, first serve.
100 Visitor spectators
-Admission tickets will be distributed to visiting teams.
-All spectators, above the age of five, should wear a face covering as they enter/exit the facility and at all times while unable to socially distance, including using the restroom or going to the concession stand.
-Spectators in the bleachers should socially distance. Families may sit together but should maintain at least six feet of separation from other families.
-No re-entry to the building will be permitted.
Varsity and Sub-Varsity Football Contests
No spectator capacity limitations
-All spectators, above the age of five, are encouraged to wear a face covering as they enter/exit the facility and at all times while unable to socially distance, including using the restroom or going to the concession stand.
-Spectators should socially distance. Families may sit together but should maintain at least six feet of separation from other families.
-Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and socially distance in areas around the field.
Note: As student-athletes travel and compete across the region, the spectator rules and capacities will vary by facility and community.
