Minnie Muriel Amant

Minnie Muriel Amant, 82, of Crane passed away March 28, 2018, at her home. She was born July 22, 1935, at Butler, Okla. to T.M. Ray and Bessie Brown Ray. Amant had lived in the area since 1968, coming here from Oregon. She had worked on the family dairy farm and loved taking care of all her animals. She also enjoyed going to casinos.
Amant was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Charles Monroe Amant; son, Charles Amant Jr.; daughter, Donna Jean Brevell; and one grandson. Survivors include: a son, John (Shelia) Amant of Crane; daughters, Mary Ann Kent of Aurora, June (Loyd) Buckner of Reavisville and Rose Marie Amant of Springfield; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a host of family.
Funeral services were held April 2, 2018, at Westrip Funeral Home, in Crane. Burial was at Oak Grove Cemetery in Crane.
