Mt. Vernon Cheer places second at regionals, earn state bid

The 2019-2020 Mount Vernon HS Cheerleaders competed at the MCCA (Missouri Cheerleading Coaches Association) West Regional on Sunday, October 20, 2020, at Staley High School in Kansas City, Mo.  The cheerleaders placed second in the 2 Small Division, earning a bid to the State Competition.  The State Competition is held at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, Nov. 16 and 17.  The cheerleaders are coached by Laurel Cook and KayLynn Pennell.
