Norma Jane Strohm

Norma Jane Strohm passed away at her residence in Independence Jan. 18, 2021.
She was born Dec. 25, 1932, to Loren and Dolly Miller in Mt. Vernon and graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1950. She was married to Daryl Strohm. They owned and operated Strohm’s Koi and Water Gardening and were members of the HOACGA (Carnival Glass Club) for many years.
She is survived by daughters, Linda (Lon) Parsons of Lee’s Summit and Vicky (Mike) Galetti of Kansas City; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Jan. 23, 2021 at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence. Burial was held in Floral Hills Cemetery, Kansas City. The family suggests memorials in her name to St. Jude’s Hospital.
