PETER HENDERSON, JR.

Peter Henderson, Jr., 93, of Shell Knob passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. He was born in Chicago, Ill. on Dec. 1, 1931; the son of Peter Henderson, Sr., and Harriet (Hodek) Henderson.
He grew up and attended school in Cicero, Ill. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1949 until 1953. He was employed in sales for a packaging company. He loved softball and played until the age of 85; celebrating his last at bat by hitting a home run.
On July 9, 1983, he married Beverly Frank.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Beverly; his son, Robert (Mary) Henderson of Nashville, Tenn.; four daughters: Sandy (Jan) Mol of Aitkin, Minn., Laura Henderson of Chicago, Ill., Jennifer Malkowski of Shell Knob and Leslie (Tom) Gordon of Nashville, Tenn.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, John Henderson.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
