REITHA RAMONA HILTON

Reitha Ramona Hilton, 86, of Aurora passed away at Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett on Friday, March 21, 2025. She was born in Aurora on Oct. 31, 1938; the daughter of Columbus and Ruby (Means) Snider.
She was a 1956 graduate of Aurora High School and continued her path of education as a teachers’ aid at Robinson Elementary in Aurora and as the principal for Aurora Christian Academy. She later worked for Walmart in the men and women’s clothing department.
On June 9, 1956, she married Darrell Clayton Hilton, they shared 63 years together before his passing.
She is survived by her two sons Aaron (Sharon) Hilton and Brian Hilton, all of Aurora; one brother, Christopher (Janet) Snider of Aurora; four grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell; her parents and sister, Alicia Hastings.
Services were held on Thursday, March 27, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. Burial services were held on Friday, March 28, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield.
