Ronald F. Lewis

Ronald F. Lewis, 76, of Carthage passed away April 4, 2021 at Sarcoxie Nursing Center, Sarcoxie. Lewis was born Aug. 27, 1944 in Carthage the son of John Francis Lewis and Clara Mills. He was a lifetime resident of Carthage. Lewis was employed by Four State Supply in Joplin for 38 years and with Food for Less, retiring in 2020.
Lewis was married to wife Alma and wife LaRae, both preceded him in death.
Lewis is survived by son, Ronald E. Lewis of Cudahy, Wis.; daughters, Valorie Crites of Joplin and Lisa Puryear of Fairland, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Lewis was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Ulmer Funeral Home.
