Sharon Ann Ohler

Sharon Ann Ohler, 66, of Purdy passed away April 18, 2021 while at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield.
Ohler was born on July 12, 1954 in Jamestown, NY, daughter of William Harvey Stubbs and Dorothy Pearl (German) Stubbs. She graduated from Bell High School in Bell, Calif., with the class of 1972 and then attended the Jamestown Community College. For several years, she worked as a florist and was talented at designing arrangements for weddings and other special events. Later, Ohler worked for almost 20 years at George’s in Butterfield.
Ohler was a charter-member of New Freedom Worship Center in Purdy.
Ohler married Mike Ohler on Aug. 6, 1977 in Bell, Calif. To this union, two daughters were born.
Ohler is survived by daughters, Chrissy Hancock, of Purdy and Janelle Morgan (Adam), of Purdy; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Johnson (Clint); sister, Lori Jean Lopez; step-mother, Veda Stubbs and step-brother, Punky. Ohler was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bill Stubbs and her step-father, Bob Johnson.
Funeral services were held April 23, 2021 at the New Freedom Worship Center in Purdy. The family received friends Thursday evening at the church. Memorials are being directed to the family in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
