Spring River Pioneer Days held in Verona

The Verona Civic Group hosted its inaugural Spring River Pioneer Days, held at Cannon Park in Verona from Friday, May 31 through Sunday, June 2. The gathering included a pioneer camp, historical re-enactments, a flag raising ceremony, craft vendors, pony rides, live music, stage coach rides, firearm raffles and more. The event celebrated the history of Verona and gave spectators an idea of what life was like in the mid to late-19th Century.
