Terry A. Preston

Terry A. Preston, 78, of Sarcoxie passed away April 28, 2021 at his home. He was born in Coffeyville, Kan. to Elbert Preston and Margaret (Solomon) Preston on Sept. 15, 1942.  He retired after 26 years as a construction supervisor and was a member of the Shepherd’s Chapel in Gravette, Ark. Preston attended school in Joplin and graduated with an associates degree from Fayetteville College.  He married Linda (Bussear) Preston on May 21, 1990 and she survives. Preston is also survived by his son, Steve Preston of Webb City; daughter, Sherry Greninger of Joplin; son, Jonathan Palmer of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation was held May 4, 2021 at Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City. Memorials may be made to the Carthage Humane Society at 13860 Dog Kennel Lane, Carthage, Missouri 64836 in his memory.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
