Victoria Lynn Nethery

Victoria “Vicky” Lynn Nethery, 51, passed away in the early morning of Monday, Aug. 18, 2025 at her Verona home.
She was born to David Daugherty and Angel Russel on Aug. 15, 1974 in Michigan. She then spent much of her childhood in Missouri, graduating high school in Aurora and later lived the majority of her adult life in Verona.
She was preceded in death by all her grandparents, her step-father Kenneth Lechner, and her youngest brother Raymond Daugherty.
She is survived by her husband, Chris Nethery; her parents; her stepfather, Charles Russel; her sister, Kelly Garner and brother in-law Nathan Garner; her brother, Tyler Daugherty and sister in-law Amanda Daugherty; her five adult children, Kyleigh Evans, Kierstyn Evans, Trevor Pace, Emily Nethery, and Rhiannon Evans. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as her five grandchildren. She was also loved by countless other relatives, and many friends she made everywhere she went whom she considered family as well.
She loved her family, especially her children. Her most important dream since she herself was a child, was to become a mother, which she succeeded in throughout the phases of her life. She always said this was her biggest joy and source of pride.
Her bright spirit will be missed dearly. Her celebration of life was held Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025 from 3-5 p.m.
