WAYNE RIDENOUR

Wayne Ridenour, 77, of Monett passed away on Feb. 13, 2024, surrounded by family at home. He was born on July 31, 1946, in Wheaton, the son of the late Melvin and Faye Marie (Griffin) Ridenour.
He was united in marriage to Sharon Richards on Sept. 16, 1967, in Branson.
He was retired from insurance and sales, and was a member of Waymark Church in Monett where he was an ordained Deacon. He loved being Santa and worked for Dining for Diabetes. He also was formerly a member of the Jaycees and the Jr. Jaycees.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; one son, Douglas (Amy) Ridenour of Bois D’Arc; one daughter, Leslie (Mike) Yager of Cushing, Okla.; and one sister, Charlotte Bounous of Monett.
Visitation was held on Thursday, Feb. 15, at the Waymark Church in Monett. Funeral services followed with burial at the Rocky Comfort Cemetery in Rocky Comfort.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
