WILLIAM “BILL” EUGENE YARDLEY

William “Bill” Eugene Yardley, 81, of Crane, Missouri departed this life on February 10, 2024, at Cox Medical Center South Springfield, Missouri. Bill was born on January 25, 1943, in Boston, Missouri to Ora and Alfreda Sullivan Yardley.
Bill had lived in Crane for the past 15 years and had been a business owner doing excavating in the Mt. Vernon area from the 70’s to the 90’s. He and his wife Mary both enjoyed attending and singing in church.
Bill is survived by two sons, Kent Yardley and wife Glenda of Purdy, Missouri and Paul Yardley and wife Brenda of Crane; two sisters, Viola Andrews of Kansas City and Patsy Andrews and husband Gene of Texas;  brother, Don Yardley and wife Penny of Gladstone, Missouri; four grandchildren, Jessica (Jared) Hogan, Joshua Yardley, Chelsey (Jon) Steele and Brandon (Shanda) Yardley; eight great-grandchildren, Baylee, Emma, William, Emery, Grayson, Cora, Ellie and Kohl; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; his parents; and a sister, Florence Schreckenghaust.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Westrip Funeral Home in Crane, Missouri.
Funeral services were held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Westrip Funeral Home. Burial was in the Clio Cemetery in Jenkins, Missouri.
