The Miller R-2 School District unveiled their new, multi-million-dollar agriculture building following a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 17. This new teaching facility, made possible thanks to a passed bond issue, will put cutting-edge equipment into the hands of Miller youth.

Area organizations offering outreach to people in need met on Aug. 25 in Monett to share notes on local programs, seeking collaboration in utilizing resources.
A pathway toward changing Monett’s form of government took shape on Aug. 28 as members of the Monett City Council discussed the process with officials from West Plains, the only other city in the state that ran under the commission form until changing in 2013.
