‘Tis the season
The Mt. Vernon Area Chamber of Commerce hosted another successful Christmastime inauguration. The annual holiday affair—which benefited from comfortable weather—began with a parade which ended on the Mt. Vernon square where free food and live music could be enjoyed. The culmination of the evening was the lighting of the Lawrence County Courthouse, which was introduced with a countdown and celebrated with cheers from the crowd of hundreds.
