Alabama Breakfast

The Record’s “Recipe of the Week”:
Alabama Breakfast by Goldia Weaver

6 slices of toasted bread
1 lb. sausage
1-3/4 cups milk
5 eggs
1/2 cup swiss cheese or sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper

Grease a 9x13 pan. Cube the toasted bread and lay in the bottom of the pan. Add the sausage and cheese.

Mix the milk, eggs, mustard, sauce, salt, and pepper. Pour over the casserole.

Bake at 350° for 45-60 minutes. You can make this and refrigerate overnight.
