Age: 37
Occupation: Owner and operator of a lawn care and skid steer business.
Education: 2002 graduate of Liberal High School in Liberal, Mo.
Why should someone vote for you: I want to ensure our school and community continue to grow and succeed while always holding the education of the children of this district as the top priority. As a board member, I would strive to assure that our kids are given as many opportunities here as would be available to them in larger districts including continued access to a quality education and exceptional teachers.

Name: Derek Hill
Family: Wife, Sophia and kids Ashlyn, Alyssa and Nate Hill
Age: 42
Occupation: Heartland Pet Food - Shift Manager
Education: Miller High School and Missouri Southern.
Why should someone vote for you? I am a lifelong Miller resident that has been involved with multiple entities associated with the Miller School District. I have experience within the district as an employee, coach, parent, community member and spouse of an educator. That experience will aid me in providing guidance to our district in fostering well-rounded students that are prepared for life, college or a career.

Name: Chad Ricketts
Family: I have been married to my wife Kaleena for nearly 18 years and we have a daughter, Lillie and a son, Christian.
Age: 38
Occupation: Owner/Operator at RickBee’s Machine Fabrication & Repair
Education: Associate’s Degree in Applied Science of Heavy Equipment Technology
Why should someone vote for you: My ambitions if elected are to support our school district to ensure a safe place for our community’s children to learn and grow. I would like to see an emphasis made towards creating opportunities to help our graduates have all options after high school. If college isn’t in their cards, let’s make sure they have access to the information about skilled trades that could lead them into an effective career.
