Aurora Council approves 2020 town budget

The Aurora City Council briefly met at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 25. During the meeting, they passed an ordinance adopting the city’s budget for the 2020 fiscal year.
The council passed the ordinance after holding its second reading. The first reading took place during the council meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 11. The budget contains estimated revenue of $7,461,747.00 and estimated expense of $8,081,398.00. The difference will be made up with a projected cash reserve requirement of $619,651.00.
