Betty Marie Lehman

Betty Marie Lehman, passed away in her home in Tecumseh on July 27, 2026, following a long and courageous health battle.  Born on Sept. 6, 1956, in Danville, Ill., she was the daughter of Frank Owen Brewer and Esther Joan (Larkin) Brewer.  During her freshman year of high school, her family relocated to Cabool.  It was there, at Cabool High School, that she met the love of her life, John Lehman.  The high school sweethearts were married in June 1974, immediately following graduation, embarking on a beautiful 52-year journey together.  
She is survived by her loving husband, John Lehman of Tecumseh; her sons Jason Lehman (Brandy) of Smithville; and Jeremy Lehman (Sherry) of Mount Vernon and eight grandchildren.
 A remembrance of life for her will be held on Sunday,  Sept. 6, from 1-3 p.m. at the Trinity Freewill Baptist Church, 985 MO-181, Cabool, MO 65689.
