Brown Sugar Drop Cookies
The Record’s “Recipe of the Week”:
Brown Sugar (Drop) Cookies by Goldia Weaver
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
3 eggs, well beaten
5 cups flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Cream the butter. Slowly add the sugar, eggs, and milk.
Sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add to the butter/sugar mixture. Add the vanilla.
Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° until done.
