Chris Owen McClanahan

Chris Owen McClanahan passed away Feb. 17, 2019. He was born Aug. 11, 1963, in Springfield, to Edward Owen McClanahan and Juanita Higgins McClanahan. He attended both Miller High School and Mt. Vernon High School before graduating from SMSU and obtaining his nursing degree.
McClanahan started traveling as an RN and worked in Columbia and several places on the east coast; and finally settled in Berkley, Calif. in emergency room nursing and critical care ambulance transport.
McClanahan is survived by: his companion of many years, Marina Oliveria; brothers, Patrick and Eddie.
Funeral services will be at Greenlawn Funeral Home North in Springfield March 9, 2019 at 11 a.m.
