Douglas Carl “Doug” Nickle

Douglas Carl “Doug” Nickle, 50, of Aurora passed away Jan. 20, 2021 at his home.
He was born Jan. 27, 1970 in Jackson County the son of Robert M. and Ruth E. (Martin) Nickle. On May 10, 2003 in Clever he was united in marriage to Anita Denise Medlin who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Ruth; son, Jeffrey Nickle of Aurora; daughter, Morale Nickle of Aurora; brothers, Robert Nickle of the Kansas City area, Bill (Darlene) Nickle of Johnson County, David (Dee) Nickle of Cass County and Chuck Nickle of Jenkins and sister, Susan (Dan) Breeding of Jackson County.
Preceding him in death was his father, Robert.
Nickle was self-employed as a construction worker.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021 at Madry Christian Union Church in Madry. Nilene McKnight will conduct the service.
The family will receive friends from 4-5 p.m. Wednesday at Madry Christian Union Church. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
