Frank D. Love

Frank D. Love, 74, of Cassville passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026 at his home.

He was born Oct. 19, 1951 in Perryton, Texas, the son of Harold Edward and Doris (Dunsworth) Love. On June 15, 1974 in Shasta, Calif. he was united in marriage to Cherie Spohn, who survives. Also surviving are his sons, Rick Love of Cassville, and Tom Love of Great Falls, Mont.; daughter Christy Blankenship and husband Jason of Cassville; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and sister, Sandra.

Love graduated from Olympic High School. He later attended Shasta College in Redding, Calif., earning a Bachelor of Science in Automotive Technology. He proudly served in the United States Navy, the United States Army, and the National Guard, with service during the Vietnam War and Desert Storm. He was employed as a mechanic at the Shasta Hydro Power Plant at Shasta Dam in Shasta, Calif., where he worked until his retirement in 2011. Following his retirement, he and Cherie moved to Cassville and attended Corinth Baptist Church.
