Jessie Ellen Willcock

Jessie Ellen Willcock, 91, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Feb. 19, 2020, at the Mt. Vernon Place Care Center. She was born Sept. 16, 1928, in Stone County, the daughter of John and Cordia (Davis) Seitz. She was a homemaker and attended the Life Bridge Assembly in Mt. Vernon. In 1945, she married Edwin Willcock, in Fayetteville, Ark. He preceded her in death in 2002.
She is survived by: daughters, Judy Torbett and Janet (Ron) Weldy all of Mt. Vernon and Vickie Elliott of Woodward, Okla.; son, Eddie (Joyce) Willcock of Marionville; brother, Junior (Nollie) Seitz; sisters, Pearl (Larry) Arnold, Mary McCann and Joann (Denver) Huse; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and many more extended family. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; brothers, Joe, Gerald and Earl Seitz; sisters, Maxine Garoutte, Adine Evans and Emmaline Seitz; two great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, John Torbett.
A celebration of life was held Feb. 23, 2020, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. A private family burial will be held at a later date at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
